Books for Hope cards
Books for Hope, an Indonesian organisation dedicated to expanding educational access for rural children, sought distinctive Christmas cards to enhance their fundraising efforts. Inspired by the transformative power of books, I conceived the idea of crafting intricate paper sculptures depicting Christmas scenes from old and discarded books. This was both labour-intensive and rewarding, as it showcased how books transcend mere words, offering new adventures, emotions, and journeys. The resulting series of unique Christmas cards resonated deeply with supporters, quickly selling out and generating proceeds that benefitted Books for Hope's mission.
