Shell Eco-marathon World Championship
The Shell Eco-marathon World Championships, featuring the top 12 regional teams, will take place in Bangalore, with preliminary events held in the US, France, and Indonesia. A compelling graphic identity was essential—one that was impactful, versatile, meaningful, recognisable, and memorable. This design needed to seamlessly adapt across diverse physical and digital platforms, including T-shirts, cards, posters, banners, helmet decals, websites, and social media.
The solution was a design with a racing helmet integrated within a circular graphic, segmented into distinct sections, each representing key facets of the Shell Eco-marathon: the scientific and engineering achievements, the competitive spirit of the race, its underlying mission, and the excitement it generates. This design not only highlights the core elements of the event but also integrates the broader narrative of Shell Eco-marathon's mission; to advance sustainable energy solutions. From a distance, the graphic appears as a simple circular pattern, but a closer look reveals intricate details that tell a deeper story.
